Mit dem Stimmgabelaufsatz lässt es sich sehr angenehm arbeiten. Er überträgt die Schwingung der Stimmgabel sehr gut auf den Körper und vertieft durch seine Eigenschwingung die Wirkung. Die Rändelschraube erleichtert es, den Aufsatz schnell von einer Stimmgabel auf die nächste zu setzen. Durch die Verwendung des Aufsatzes liegen die Stimmgabeln außerdem besser in der Hand.
